New laptop for Windows 7
Next Windows, "Windows 7" will need some hardware capacities, if you are thinking to buy a laptop, you should consider a minimum of 2GB (RAM) or more and dual core or better cpu. 2GB is the recommended on Vista but Windows 7 will need more. Check the Windows 7 Official Presentation Video:
